Security Guard shot in Belize City

BBN Staff: Sunday, March 18, 2018 about 9:20 a.m., police went to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and saw Robert Strekler, 34 , a security guard suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower back.

Police investigation revealed that about 9:15 a.m., Strekler was talking to another person at the corner of Fairweather Street and South Creek when a  lone gunman approached them and fired shots at him causing the injuries.

Police are investigating.
