Twin Towns open road to new area in Cayo Northeast

By BBN Staff: The San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Council, this week, began road work in an area near Cayo Northeast.

In the area, 200 parcels of house lots and land had been issued to residents two years ago by UDP caretaker, John August, however, the residents were unable to access the land because there was no road way.

The Town Council have now started clearing the area to build new roads making it accessible for residents to their parcels of land.

Mayor Earl Trapp was at the area along with contractors this morning overseeing the work being done.
