By BBN Staff: The Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH), via a release issued yesterday, announced to the general public that specialist clinics have resumed effective April 3.

The KHMH said its admissions department has also been re-activated for appointment scheduling and for reception of patients with pending appointments.

“The KHMHA appreciates the public’s patience and continued support as we work to regain our full function as your national referral hospital,” the KHMH said.

The hospital was operating at only 50 percent functionality over the last couple weeks after it was discovered that there were structural damages to the hospital’s ceiling which needed urgent repair. This affected a number of the hospital’s services and caused much public concern as the hospital is the country’s largest and only referral hospital.
