By BBN Staff: The Government of Belize has recently increased the cost of fuel, introduced new taxes on data services and now will increase the cost of liquefied petroleum gas otherwise known as butane.
In Corozal and Belize City the cost will now be $114 per 100 lb cylinder.
In Orange Walk it will be ten dollars more.
While in Belmopan and San Ignacio the price will be $116.
In Benque Viejo the cost will now be $117.
In Dangriga the cost will be $118.
And finally in Punta Gorda the cost of a hundred pound cylinder will now be $119.
These new rates will take effect tomorrow, Friday.
