Delivery truck hijacked, Belize city gang reportedly involved

By BBN Staff: Breaking Belize News has been reliably informed that this afternoon, police responded to a report of a delivery van from Belmopan that was hijacked and robbed.

Police set chase and the vehicle sped off.

The Dodge Nitro that the culprits were driving lost control and flipped near the entrance to La Democracia.

Preliminary information indicates that a major Belize city gang was the mastermind behind the heist.

Police are still processing the scene.
