By BBN Staff: On Wednesday, April 4, around 2:40 am, police responded to reports of a house fire on Flamboyant Street where they saw a bungalow three -bedroom house made from plycem and cement measuring about 30 feet by 40 feet completely destroyed by fire.
The fire was already extinguished by fire personnel.
Joseph Gabourel,43, told police that whilst he was at home in his room sleeping, he was awakened by the smell of smoke.
When Gabourel checked, he saw smoke coming from the room on the western part of the house.
The house and its contents were all destroyed by fire – all to a total value of $30,000.00.
Police investigations continue.
