House destroyed by fire in Dangriga

BBN Staff: Crescencio Ramos of Wageirale area in Dangriga Town reported that about 10:30 a.m. yesterday, whilst working, he was informed that his house on Nurse Thompson Street was on fire.

Ramos went to check and saw his wooden structure with zinc roofing house measuring 22ft. by 14ft. totally engulfed in flames.

The fire was later extinguished by personnel from the Fire Department.

 Ramos stated that at the time of the fire no one was living in the house and it didn’t have any electricity.

The value of the house is estimated at $12,000.00.

The house was not insured.

No one was injured and the cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained.

 Police investigations continue.
