Another woman, Marcia Downs, murdered in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Our newsroom has confirmed that Marcia Downs died last night while receiving medical treatment at the Karl Huesner Memorial Hospital (KHMH).

Downs was reportedly inside her home on Handy Side Street, an artery that links to Majestic Alley, when a man opened fire on her.

According to relatives, the gunman fired a couple shots at Downs hitting her in the head.  The shooter is believed to have been known to her.

Reliable sources tell BBN that the incident is gang related and has it’s foundation in a long time ‘beef’ between a north side gang and the Majestic Alley gang.

Marcia Downs was closely associated with, and has a child for Lincoln ‘Kilo Boy’ Allen who was gunned down in the same area in 2013.
