Orange Walk Businessman robbed with toy gun

BBN Staff: Around 9:40 yesterday morning, a Bangladeshi businessman of Otro Benque Road, Orange Walk Town reported that about 9:20 a.m., while working at his shop Otro Beque Store, two men entered his establishment.

One of the men then took out a firearm and pointed it towards the businessman’s head.

The other man took out a knife.

Both culprits then stole  $250 in cash from a cash register and (1) IPhone valued at $1,800.00.

A struggle ensued between the business owner and the culprits in which the owner realized that the weapon was a plastic toy gun.

Police are investigating.
