Another suspected drug plane lands in Belize

BBN Staff: On Thursday night, multiple reports surfaced of a suspected drug plane, which allegedly landed in the Belize district.

The plane reportedly landed around mile 10 on the George Price highway.

According to a report from 7News, Deputy Commissioner, Chester Williams informed them that officers responded to reports of a plane circling low in Hattieville and saw a large plane landing before taking off again about 20 minutes later.

Checkpoints were installed on the highways but police reportedly didn’t find anything.

Shortly after 9:00 that night, a large plane was seen flying south off the coast of Belize city.
