Police locate boat stolen in double murder

By BBN Staff: Police have found a stolen boat, believed to be the getaway vessel used following a double murder on an island near Caye Caulker last week.

Mark Sewell and Gabriel Escalante were gunned down and the murderer escaped with a boat belonging to the owner of the island.

Yesterday, police informed that the boat had been located.

By late evening yesterday, the Coast Guard had confirmed that the boat was the one belonging to the owner of the island and it was located in Long Caye Creek.

Police are still investigating this homicide.
