Armed robbers sought by police in Sandhill

BBN Staff: Police in Sandhill are investigating an armed burglary that occurred on Tuesday morning.

A Sandhill resident reported to authorities that between 12 and 1 am on Tuesday, while at his home, he was awakened by his girlfriend who told him that someone was in the house.

He said that when he got up, he saw two men and one had a knife.

The culprit attacked him with the knife and as a result, his girlfriend began screaming.

The men then ran out of the house.

The victim sustained some scratches and bruises.

Police are investigating.
