US Embassy meet with new Belize City Council team

By BBN Staff:This week, Charge d’ Affairs, Adrienne Galanek of the United States Embassy in Belize met with Mayor Bernard Wagner and the new Belize City Council.

The purpose of the meeting was to foster relationships with various organizations that will be beneficial to the municipality.

Wagner and his councillors were engaged in a meeting about future partnerships between the Belize City Council and the United States Embassy.

A statement from the US Embassy congratulated the team and said the embassy looks forward to the continued partnership with the council. “We congratulate you, once again, and look forward to continuing our partnership in the areas of citizen security, good governance, economic prosperity, including programs focused on women, youth, and emergency preparedness.”

Wagner said the council continues to strengthen the relationship with the US Embassy in Belize and also looks forward to the great partnership.
