BBN Staff: Belizeans on social media were happy to see GOB backtracking from the fuel prices increase this afternoon. However, shortly thereafter GOB issued another release with the new price increases.


Regular and diesel are being hiked by 39 cents and 48 cents respectively.

Regular fuel goes from $10.65 to $11.04 per gallon.

Diesel goes from $10.01 to $10.49 per gallon.

Premium remains at $11.39 per gallon and kersone remains at $7.87 per gallon.

On April 4, butane prices were hiked by a whopping $10 more per 100 pounds cylinder.
