Belize city woman stabs common-law-husband to the chest

BBN Staff: Belize city police are investigating the stabbing of a 19-year-old Belize City man.

Yesterday around 12:22 p.m., Herman Solis and his common-law-wife, Renesha Alvarez,19, were arguing when Alvarez got upset and stabbed Solis in his chest.

Solis was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) for medical treatment.

He is listed in a stable but critical condition.

Police are investigating.
