By BBN Staff:Tonight, Belizean born boxer Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller, will have to overcome one last obstacle on his way to gaining a shot at a world championship fight: French boxer Johann Duhaupas.
The two are set to fight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Miller, who was born in Belize City and migrated to the USA at the age of 6, has a record of 21 wins, 1 loss and weighs in at 304 pounds. He told Channel 7’s Courtenay Weatherburn that he is confident he can secure the win and move on to the title bout.
Miller was previously a professional kickboxer. But his road to the championship will not be an easy one.
The 36 -year-old Duhaupas is a former European Union heavyweight champion, and the current World Boxing Council Silver Weight Champion, with a 17-0 winning streak in that division. He has won 37 of his 41 total fights, 24 of which were by knock out.
The fight will air on HBO.
