Man finds girlfriend and friend in ‘compromising situation’, stabs both

BBN Staff: This morning BBN reported of a stabbing incident in Belize city in which a man and woman were stabbed.

According to police, around 1:00, Jefferson Jacobo was at his home on Freetown Road when his girlfriend, Honduran national, Joselyn Duarte arrived with one of Jacobo’s friend, Manuel Acosta.

Sometime later, Jacobo found Duarte and Acosta in a ‘compromising situation’ and he stabbed both Duarte and Acosta.

Police were called to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) where they saw Duarte with multiple cut wounds to her body.

Acosta was also seen with multiple cut wounds to his body.

Both are listed in a critical but stable condition.

Police are investigating.
