By BBN Staff: A farmer in Arenal village, Cayo District has been arrested for keeping a shotgun and ammo without a license.
Last night, while Police were conducting a patrol within Arenal village in the Cayo District they saw the farmer riding a horse with a shotgun across his laps.
Police asked him for his gun license; however, he did not have one so police confiscated the firearm.
Further searches resulted in the discovery of (7) 16 gauge cartridges.
The farmer was identified as Jeronimo Ronald Sacul,31.
Sacul was detained pending charges of ‘kept firearm and ammunition without a gun license.’
