The second murder happened at around 12:35 am today in St. Matthews Village in the Cayo District.

Roni Omar Casasolo Jr., 20, got into a confrontation with a man at a bar and that is when the man pulled out a firearm and opened fire but he escaped unharmed.
However, the man then pursued him and shot him in the middle of his chest. He died on the spot.

And just before 4 am the final murder took place in Belize City in the same vicinity of last night’s murder.

Shots rang out at the corner of Mahogany and Western Avenue.

When police arrived on the scene they saw the body of Honduran national and career taxi man, Sbeiro Habib Hajjara, 36, in the driver’s seat of his vehicle.

He was shot three times in his chest and once in his forehead.

Police investigations have revealed that just before his death he left a nightclub to drop a female passenger home.
