PUP holds 3 endorsement conventions over the weekend

BBN Staff:This past weekend, the Opposition People’s United Party (PUP) held three endorsement conventions throughout the country.

On Saturday, May 5, 2018, PUP Party supporters from Orange Walk North gathered at Trial Farm village to witness the endorsement of  Ramon ‘Munchie’ Cervantes as their new standard bearer.

On Sunday, May 6, the PUP endorsed Cayo South area representative, Julius Espat as standard bearer for that division, and on that same day, the PUP also endorsed Orlando ‘Landy’ Habet as the new standard bearer for the Cayo Northeast constituency.

PUP Party Leader, John Briceno, and the PUP national executive offered their full support to the three standard bearers.

The PUP’s convention schedule will resume on Saturday, May 19, 2018, with the endorsement of Jose Abelardo Mai in Orange Walk South.
