Elderly Belize city woman gets home from Hand in Hand Ministries

BBN Staff:Staff members and 12 students from Boston College High School in the United States of America were in Belize last month working to complete a house for Belize city resident Florence Baisa.

Baisa is a 72 year old Belizean woman who did not own a home for herself, and only had a mat and the clothes she was wearing.

Through Hand in Hand Ministries, the group began and successfully completed the home for Baisa.

“Hand in Hand Ministries” assists many families in need in Belize and Central America.

Hand in Hand Ministries believes that all people deserve life’s essentials – food, water, clothing, shelter, education and medical care.

The Program is faith based, however, they invite anyone of good will to join the program.

Last month, the group built the 349^th house for the Hand in Hand Ministry Building for Change Program.
