Two more dead manatees found this week

BBN Staff: Yesterday, conservationists reported seeing a large dead manatee with its intestines hanging out, floating down the Belize River.

Pictures of another dead manatee were drifting down the Belize River were also posted to social media shortly after.

Last month, four dead manatees were discovered near Manatee Lookout.

After the discovery of the 4 manatees last month, Jamal Galvez of Seashore Alliance had informed that patrols would be increased to prevent the killing of the manatees.
