By BBN Staff:Police are investigating an incident involving a vehicle that was carrying 58 pounds of weed.
According to reports, yesterday around 2 pm, police conducted a joint operation in Teakettle Village where they saw a blue Great Wall Wingle vehicle.
When the driver of that vehicle saw the police, he attempted to evade them and collided into a hill.
The occupants of the vehicle then exited the car and ran into the bushes, leaving the vehicle abandoned.
Police searched the car and found 2 sacks of weed.
The weed weighed approximately 58 pounds and police say the vehicle was a rental.
Police investigations continue.
