Belmopan man stabbed to death trying to stop chain thief

BBN Staff: This morning at around 2:00 a.m. a man was stabbed in Belmopan and bled to death.

Reports are that he and another man were at the Cabana bar when a woman screamed out for help as her chain was snatched by another man.

They pursued the chain thief who pulled out a knife and stabbed the deceased under his arm.

Another man was stabbed in his head.

Police arrived on the scene and quickly nabbed the suspect.

The deceased has just been identified as Luis Monge.
