Man confesses to murder after allegedly seeing victim’s ghost

Posted: Friday, May 11, 2018. 3:31 PM. CST.

By BBN Staff: In February of this year, Hattieville resident, Alaine Garcia, 35, was reported missing.

He had taken his wife and children to the bus stop in the village but while he was returning home, gunshots were heard and he was seen running away from the area.

Since then his whereabouts have been unknown.

In an unusual twist of events, another villager has confessed to his murder.

He is Albert Jones, 45.

7News reported that Jones confessed that he shot Garcia and then chopped him up and disposed of him in a river. Thereafter he buried the machete used in the crime.

However, he only confessed because he claims Garcia’s ghost has been visiting his bedside every night since the incident.
