Fire destroys SUV in Belize City

BBN Staff:  Police are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a 2001 SUV in North Creek, Belize City.

According to reports, the Belize Fire Service Department (BFSD) was called to North Creek shortly after midnight on Thursday where they extinguished the fire.

There are several reports that the vehicle was intentionally set on fire.

However, the fire department has not yet confirmed if it was an act of arson as the investigation is ongoing.

The vehicle belonged to Melanie Staine.
