Man chopped to neck, refuses to give statement

BBN Staff:  Police are investigating a chopping incident that occurred last night.

Around 11:00 p.m. on Friday, Ivan Hyde, 26, of 19.5 miles Philip Goldson highway, Sand Hill village was socializing at a friend’s house when a person who he previously had a fist fight with arrived.

A verbal confrontation ensued before the person approached Hyde and chopped him to the left side of his neck.

Hyde was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH), where he is listed in a stable condition.

Hyde has refused to give a statement to the police.
