BDF to improve Security and Efficiency at the Benque/ Melchor Border

informed that effective today, the BDF Light Engineers will be undertaking a project to improve the security and efficiency at the Benque Viejo del Carmen/Melchor Border Crossing.

The engineers will be working in conjunction with the Border Management Agency to improve the fences and gates to ensure better control at that official crossing point.

The works are to be done in such a manner that it will cause minimum disturbance to the daily routine of officials and the public crossing the border.
