Belmopan car thieves make off in Toyota Hilux

BBN Staff:Police are investigating the robbery of a Toyota Hilux pickup truck that occurred on Monday.

Juan Hernandez, Belizean manager of Soluna Farm in Teakettle village, Cayo reported that around 5:00 p.m. on Monday, he parked his grey 2007 Toyota Hilux pick-up in the Belmopan Market Square area and around 7:00 p.m. when he returned, the truck was not there.

The Toyota Hilux is valued at $25,000.

Police are investigating.
