By Wellington C. Ramos: PM timeline for departure looks good but he should retain his seat until after the general election and UDP need more candidates to compete for the leadership of the party. I think there will be a darkhorse candidate. Otherwise, they could lose the next general election in 2020.
Luckily for them, the PUP leadership problems will come up soon as well and the ICJ issue will have a major impact on the next general election for both parties.
Belize people are fearful of Guatemala and they have lost faith, trust and confidence with the two major parties with this issue because too much information was kept away from them. Their fears will lead to a no ICJ vote and that will overcome facts, logic and reason.
