Oceana celebrates moratorium on offshore drilling

By BBN Staff:Today, Oceana Belize joined with its international body for it’s annual Hands Across the Sand event, in which environmentalists joined hands to say ‘No’ to off shore oil drilling.

Oceana Belize District Field Officer, Celesha Guy, explained that the event carries a special significance for Belize, given the government’s decision to pass the moratorium last year.
