PM Barrow departs country on medical leave

BBN Staff: Deputy Prime Minister Patrick Faber is holding over for Prime Minister Dean Barrow, who left the country on medical leave.

Barrow left the country today, May 22, for medical consultations regarding his back ailment. He is expected to return on May 30.

Last week the PM emphasized that he will be stepping down by May next year, and giving way to his successor.
