Armed robbery at Hofius store today

By BBN Staff: Belize City police are investigating an armed robbery at Hofius store today.

According to police reports, around 12:48 p.m., two men entered Hofius Store on Albert street in Belize City, one of the men was armed with a .38 gun.

The armed culprit pointed the gun to the cashier while the other man opened the cash register and took over a thousand dollars in cash and some cheques.

Police are investigating.
