Librarian robbed in broad daylight

By BBN Staff: A librarian of a Belize City address reported to authorities that around 10:30 yesterday morning, he was at his workplace at Lake Independence Library on Mahogany Street when a man entered the library armed with a gun.

The man pointed the gun at him and ordered to hand over his belongings.

Timmons handed over one gold chain valued at $4,000, a Gucci wallet valued at $60.00 that had $225.00 on it and other personal documents.

Police are investigating.
