Police finds gun and ammunition at 8 mile Community, Belize district

By BBN Staff:  Around 4 a.m. yesterday, an abandoned lot in the 8 miles community on the George price Highway was searched by police officers looking for illegal drugs, firearm, and ammunition.

Authorities discovered a black 9mm pistol with S/N 17870 and (2) magazines with (10) live rounds of ammunition each.

Police found no one in the vicinity, therefore the gun and ammunition were labeled, sealed and considered found property.
