Courts Corozal Branch robbed at gunpoint

BBN Staff: On Friday, June 1st, 2018, Courts Corozal Branch was robbed at gunpoint.

According to reports, the manager Manuel Pech reported to authorities that around 4 p.m. two men entered the establishment and held up the staff including a customer.

Armed with a gun, both men demanded money and went off with approximately $5,739 Belizean dollars which were proceeds from the day sales. The robbers also robbed a customer of his jewelry which included a gold chain, wedding band, and his cell phone.

 No one was injured during the incident and police are now looking for the two men who they believe committed the crime.
