Cattle Landing resident dies in fatal traffic accident

By BBN Staff:  Yesterday, at around 8:50 p.m., Punta Gorda Police arrived at 1 1/4 miles on the San Antonio Road in Cattle Landing Village where they found two men injured from an apparent motorcycle accident.

The men were identified as Hector Ramclam, 56, and Daniel Maheia, 29, who are both residents of the village.

Both persons were found by police with injuries, however, Ramclam was lying on the ground while Maheia remained standing.

Initial investigation revealed that Maheia was driving his motorcycle from Punta Gorda town to Cattle Landing when he hit Ramclam, who was walking on the road.

Ramclam was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
