Moist and unstable conditions to continue

By BBN Staff: Belize’s National Meteorological Center is reporting a moderate easterly airflow today with an increase in moisture tonight.

Sunny skies with some cloudy spells are expected today.

Some isolated showers and thunderstorms are developing over northern and inland areas.

Cloudy skies with a few showers and thunderstorms are expected mostly inland this afternoon.

The wind will blow from the East at 10 to 20 knots.

The sea state will be moderate to rough.

High temperatures are expected as follows: In the coast, 88 degrees Fahrenheit; 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Low temperatures for tonight in the coast are expected at 80 degrees Fahrenheit, inland at 75 degrees Fahrenheit, and in the hills at 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

A small craft caution is in effect for gusty winds and occasionally rough seas.

The extended forecast for tomorrow is for mostly sunny weather with some isolated showers
