By BBN Staff: BBN has today confirmed that there was a murder in the village of Hattieville.
The victim has been identified as Philmore King.
Preliminary reports indicate that this morning he was socializing on his verandah with another man when three shots went off.
He died on the spot.
King has been described as an easy going and mannerly person but a review of our archives reveal that in April of this year he and another man were busted with 13 pounds of weed at the northern border.
We will have more on this story when police issue an official comment.
