Creole Wagons employee robbed and held at gunpoint

BBN Staff:  On Monday around 2:30 p.m., police arrived at the Creole Wagons on F Street, in the Kings Park area, Belize City, where employee Jesusita Reyes reported that she had been held up at gunpoint while the business was robbed.

She told police that around 1:30 p.m., she was in the store alone, when four men of creole descent, entered.

One of the men held a firearm to her and demanded money.

She led them to the cash pan, where there was approximately only $30, which was then stolen along with a few pieces of jewelry.

No one was injured.

Police have since identified these suspects and they are currently being sought.

Investigations are ongoing.
