Pacheco charged for the murder of Jose Villanueva

By BBN Staff:  Businessman Manuel Pacheco, owner of Pacheco’s jewelry store in Belize city has been charged with the murder of 51-year old mechanic, Jose Villanueva, who was killed on East Collet canal last Thursday after an altercation between the two neighbors turned deadly.

Pacheco and Villanueva reportedly had an ongoing feud which spanned years, however, no-one ever thought it would have ended in murder. The men were reportedly involved in an altercation last Thursday evening, which led to Pacheco firing several shots Villanueva as he stood in his yard..

He was then transported to Karl Hesuner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) where he was pronounced dead.
