BBN Staff:  It has been 72 hours since businessman Homero Campos went missing.

His family is gravely concerned since after Campos was reported missing, his brother, Jaime received an anonymous phone call demanding one million Belize dollars in ransom.

According to the relatives, on Sunday, Campos left his house to go to his farm located between San Narciso and San Victor villages in the Corozal district.

The forty-three year old San Narciso businessman then vanished.

Campos’ family fears that Homero may have been harmed by the assailant/s.

Police are actively investigating this latest report and are treating it as a case of  kidnapping.
