Robber takes $8000 from Nation Wide Cash Express; Police are investigating

By BBN Staff:  BBN previously reported on a robbery that occurred at the Insurance Corporation of Belize (ICB) located on Pescador Drive, in San Pedro Town on June 20, 2018, that resulted in approximately $8,000 being stolen from the cashier at Nation Wide Cash Express located within the same office.

Reports made were that around 8 a.m., while opening the business, a Hispanic man dressed in black entered the establishment and robbed the cashier.

Police investigation reveals that the entire area was searched and canvassed and surveillance cameras within the vicinity have also been monitored, however, no useful information has been gathered.

Police investigations are ongoing.
