By BBN Staff: A chopping incident in Frank’s Eddy village in the Cayo district has left a Salvadoran farmer dead.
He has been identified as Sabino Guerra.
Early this morning the victim was working at his home in the village when an unidentified man inflicted the fatal injuries.
BBN spoke to the Chairman of the village who indicated that he cannot understand why Guerra was killed.
According to the Chairman, the farmer was a peaceful man, bothered no one and died with his money and wallet in his pocket.
The Chairman claimed that Guerra was a good villager and recently celebrated his son”s marriage with the villagers.
Guerra’s wife is scheduled to travel from El Salvador early this week to make funeral arrangements.
Police are currently processing the scene.
