By BBN Staff: On June 23, 2018, Belize celebrated Public Service Day to recognize and celebrate public servants.
The theme for this year’s Public Service Day was “The Belize Public Service- Moving Towards the future with Innovation, Dedication, and Perseverance”.
The Office of the Director of Health Services today informed that for the Ministry of Health, many officers were recognized for their 25 plus years of service.
Today, a ceremony was also held in Belize City to recognize public servants with ten to twenty years of service.
“We salute you all as the day to day work may not be noticeable but all the good work hinges on your shoulders and the tasks we take on daily,” the statement expressed.
The event was held at the Belize Civic Center.
