By BBN Staff: A two-year-old child remains in good health despite being attacked by a Pit-bull over the weekend.
According to police , the minor and her mother, Briana Kelly, entered their home on Raccoon Street extension around 7:00 p.m. on Saturday but the dog suddenly pounced on her.
The child was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) where she has been listed in a stable condition.
In a press conference today, police indicated that the yard is fenced and contains two houses.
The owner of the dog resides in one of the homes and is a relative of the injured girl.
