Hopkins business owner robbed and assaulted

BBN Staff: On Sunday, June 24, Yanliu Zheng, 46, and owner of Best Choice Supermarket in Hopkins village, Dangriga, reported to police that she was robbed and held at gunpoint.  

Cheng reported that two men entered her store, one of whom held a gun to her head, and demanded money. 

As a result, she handed over a purse containing $700.  

Zheng also received minor injuries to the head after being hit with the gun. 

Police are investigating.
