Belize City Council appoints new City Administrator 

BBN Staff:  After terminating the services of former City Administrator, Candice Miller, the Belize City Council (CITCO) has appointed a new City Administrator (CA).

That new CA is Mrs. Stephanie Lindo Garbutt who possesses a Masters of Science in Project Management; a Bachelor of Art in English and an Associate Degree in Physics and Mathematics.

Garbutt will receive an annual income of $60,000 which is a reduction of the estimated $91,000 paid to her predecessor, Candice Burke.

And unlike Burke who received a four-year contract, Garbutt has only received a one year contract which will be subject to renewal if she meets her targets a source at CITCO told BBN.

Gabutt will commence service in her capacity on Monday, July 2, 2018.
