Mass shooting in Trial Farm Village leaves 4 injured

BBN Staff:  Last night around 8, police arrived at the Northern Regional Hospital where they saw four persons from Trial Farm Village, Orange Walk District who had apparently been shot.

Nazario Herrera Sr, 35, reported to police that around 7:35 that night, he was in front of his house having a conversation with his common-law wife, Diana Ack, 26, Monico Gomez, 20, and Victor Ku, when a man armed with a firearm entered his property from his front gate and fired several shots towards their direction.

Herrera was shot to his left buttocks, Ack was shot to the right of her chest and right lower arm, Gomez received gunshot wounds to his chest and, Ku was injured in his left foot.

Both Ack and Gomez are in a critical but stable condition, whereas Herrera and Ku are in stable conditions.

Police are investigating.
