PUP: Court did not grant injunction for Belmopan Convention

According to the PUP, the postponement is due to a legal challenge mounted against the party. 

The PUP clarifies that the court did not grant the claimant (Arthur Saldivar) an injunction as has been reported in some sections of the media.  

“As a matter of fact, the case is scheduled to be heard before Justice Shona Griffith on Friday, July 6, 2018 after all necessary paperwork has been filed and submitted,” the PUP said in the statement. 

The PUP further added that it is looking forward to conducting the convention on Sunday, July 8, 2018, and wishes the three aspirants all the best in their campaign.
